How to get to Niseko

New Chitose International Airport is the gateway for overseas travelers wishing to get to Niseko. From New Chitose International Airport there are a number of options to get to Niseko and Powderhound Lodge; train, bus, taxi, or private transfer.

We recommend customers to take the Whiteliner bus, as we have found this to be the most cost effective and convenient mode of transport. A distinct advantage of this is that Whiteliner will wait for incoming flights when they are delayed, giving you peace of mind that you will reach your destination. Whiteliner buses also run between Sapporo and Niseko.

Alternatively, door-to-door private transfers can be arranged for any time of day, from any location, for those who prefer to travel on their own terms. If you would like to book either the Whiteliner bus or private transfers, please use our online booking engine.

PLEASE NOTE: although some establishments accept Visa or Mastercard, cash remains the main form of payment in Japan.
